Come to the Omak PAC this September for a special multimedia music-dance theater performance featuring lead dancer/choreographer Jayanthi Raman and ensemble dancers from Portland and India. Jayanthi Raman is an iconic dancer, choreographer, and master artist. Her new show DEVI, which translates to "Goddess" in the Sanskrit language, features dancers performing graceful Bharatha Natyam and the athletic Chau classical dance from Delhi, India.
The dance production takes us on a journey through India's vast and rich cultural heritage. The production endeavors to illuminate the paradox of femininity by skillfully navigating the blurred boundaries between the revered figure of the Goddess and the lived experiences of present day women.
The Omak PAC is Okanogan County's premier event veunue, with over 550 seats, a large stage, orchestra pit, top of the line lighting and soundboards, spotlights, lines for dropping sets, and a control booth overlooking the theater.
The Omak PAC Foundation supports facility maintenance and upgrades, and organizes live events for the community to enjoy. Check out our current events page.
Thanks to a generous community, we raised over $60,000 for new curtains in 2016. The Omak School District replaced the failing seats with brand new ones in summer 2017. New LED lighting followed, too.
The PAC Foundation was established to provide ongoing private support for maintenance, promotion, and facility upgradesādedicated to elevating the Omak Performing Arts Center as a premier venue for the arts and enriching entertainment throughout Okanogan County.
